Regan Studer was appointed to Te Mana Whakahaere o Awanuiārangi in 2025 and currently serves as Chair of the Finance, Audit, Risk, and Investment Committees.
Regan holds several directorships across the Ngāti Awa commercial group, including Ngāti Awa Group Holdings Limited, Ngāti Awa Farms Limited, Ngāti Awa Forests Limited, Ngāti Awa Asset Holdings Limited and Ngāti Awa Properties Limited. He is also a trustee of the Rotoehu Forest and Kiwinui Trusts.
His governance responsibilities extend to a number of agribusiness entities, including Ngakauroa Dairy LP, Omataroa Orchard LP and, Tumurau LP. With over a decade of experience in the agricultural and management sectors, Regan is the founder and owner of several businesses, most notably Doherty Studer Limited.
His professional background combines hands-on operational leadership with governance expertise across iwi, commercial, and private sector interests.
Regan holds a Bachelor of Business from Massey University (2016), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Waikato (2019), and a Diploma in Te Tohu Paetahi from the University of Waikato (Tauranga) (2023). He is a member of the Institute of Directors.
