We are looking for a part time Librarian to provide library services to students and staff at our Whakatane Campus Library.  You will also provide online Library services to our wider online student base and staff located at Tāmaki and Wairoa campuses and offsite throughout the country.   

 

In this role you will work predominantly 15 hours each week Monday and Tuesday.  Occasionally, you may be required to support students attending scheduled weekend noho at Whakatāne Campus.

 

To successfully undertake this role, you will have:  

·         A tertiary qualification in Library and Information Studies or other relevant discipline. 

·         At least three years’ experience providing library services.    

·         Previous experience working in a tertiary education environment.   

·         Te Reo Māori skills to at least intermediate level and an understanding of Tikanga Māori.    

·         A current full driver’s licence.
