We take this journey of discovery to reclaim our sovereignty, and to ensure that Māori intellectual tradition is seen as equal to the knowledge base of others.
Our driving force is our founding pepeha, Rukuhia te mātauranga ki tōna hōhonutanga me tōna whānuitanga - Pursue knowledge to its greatest depths and its broadest horizons
We aim to produce graduates (certificates, diplomas, degrees and post-graduate studies) with a cultural and community consciousness.
Many of our graduates use their skills and talents to transform their communities, and contribute to their social, cultural and economic development.
