Prepare for graduation!
Decide on whether you will attend and plan ahead. Respond to your invite by submitting an online application (once open), confirm your details, arrive early to register your attendance, collect your gown, and enjoy your special day!
Timeline*
Late March/Early April (approx): Applications will open.
- Submit your application to graduate
- Receive confirmation to graduate email
29 April - 30 April (approx): Registration/Gowning Days
- Register your arrival in person at our main campus (Wednesday 29 April, 9am - 7pm or Thursday 30 April, 9am - 9pm)
- Collect your gown or regalia
- Collect your kai tickets
- Pay your graduation fee
30 April: Pōwhiri
- Graduation Pōwhiri/welcome at Te Mānuka Tūtahi marae, Whakatāne, 3pm
- Accommodation Pōwhiri/welcome at Pupuaruhe (Toroa) Marae and Te Paroa (Taiwhakaea) Marae. Times to be confirmed.
01 May: Graduation Day
- Gown and Town Hīkoi
- Ready for procession
- Order of event begins - graduation ceremony
04 May - 25 May: Tohu for Absentia sent by courier
