Graduation programme 2026

Below is a summary of the main activities for Graduation 2026.  Confirmed timings of both the pōhiri day and the graduation ceremony day will be confirmed shortly.

Depending on the number of graduands, transitions during the day, or in the event of inclement weather, timings may need to be adjusted accordingly.  

Graduands, whānau and other visitors should make considerations for the length and movements of the day, plan and prepare accordingly.  

30 April 2026: Pōhiri

• 3pm: Pōhiri/welcome at Te Mānuka Tūtahi marae, Whakatāne

01 May 2026: Graduation Day

• Gown and Town Hīkoi
• Ready for procession
• Order of event begins - graduation ceremony
