ASB Polyfest Pasifika and Diversity Stages 2026
The ASB Polyfest is the Auckland Secondary Schools' Māori & Pacific Islands Cultural Festival.
"Ko au ko te Taiao! Ko te Taiao ko au! He Toa Taiao Taiohi nō te Moana nui a Kiwa, āke, ake, ake!
The theme of the 2026 festival is: "The environment lives in me, as I live in it - a ‘Pacific Youth Eco-Warrior’ for generations to come."
The event features traditional music, dance, costume and cultural speech competitions, and is one of the most recognised events on the Auckland calendar. It’s a showcase of diverse cultures and a celebration of youth performance.
Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi are once again privileged to be the naming rights sponsor for the Māori Stage at the event.
Students traditionally compete on six stages, performing traditional items from the following cultures – Cook Islands, Māori, Niue, Samoa, Tonga and Diversity stage featuring performances from a range of cultural groups including Fijian, Tokelau, Chinese, Korean and Indian.
This year the event will be split over two different weeks kicking off with the Pasifika and Diversity stages from the 18 - 21 March at the Manukau Sports Bowl, and then Te Paparewa Māori (Māori stage) from the 30 March - 02 April at the Due Drop Events Centre in Manukau.
Come and join in the festivities and meet our team. Nau mai, haere mai.
