Te Aratiatia ki te Hauora
Te Aratiatia ki te Hauora is a large mental health and well-being research programme, hosted and administered by Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiārangi, funded by Nōku te Ao.
He Aha Taku Oranga Hauora Mō Apōpō
Research project, aimed to better understand the health concerns faced by Māori veterans and the strategies they used to maintain their well-being during wartime and after returning home.
Tikanga me te Hauora
This one-year research project, a collaboration with Te Aratiatia ki te Hauora and funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC), explores the philosophical challenges and tensions between Western medical practices and Te Ao Māori.
Taku Ara Rā: Ko Māhinaarangi Research Project
A group of seven wāhine have embarked on a three-week hīkoi across the North Island to retrace the journey of the ancestress Māhinaarangi, and reconnect with their tribal stories, knowledge, lands, lakes and rivers along the way.
