Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi have a special history and connection with the Wairoa community, having offered a number of programmes throughout marae and other locations in the rohe over the years.
In 2024, Awanuiārangi were proud to extend the Bachelor of Health Sciences Māori Nursing degree to the region with the support of the NZ Nursing Council.
Awanuiārangi are now pleased to offer a dedicated staff and student space in the township of Wairoa and look forward to future opportunities in the region.
