Te Reo Māori

Awanuiārangi is committed to reo Māori and tikanga Māori. Students in the MMS graduate programme are expected to participate in seminars held entirely in Māori. They should also expect a high use of te reo Māori as the language of instruction in some courses. It is expected that students enrolled in the MMS degree will write their thesis in Māori. Those unable to meet this requirement must seek special dispensation to present the thesis in a language other than Māori.
