The Diploma in Content Creation (Broadcasting) Level 5, currently has three delivery models available.

The programme can be delivered using a combination of face-to-face classroom-based activities, online-supported learning through the eWānanga learning management system (LMS), and hands-on experience in onsite studios.

Tāmaki campus delivery mode:

  • On campus classes Monday to Thursdays 9.30am to 3.00pm
  • 1 x Whakatāne campus noho
  • 1 x Tāmaki campus noho
  • 15.3 self-directed learning hours per week
  • Total learning hours per week: 35.3

 

Flexible blended delivery mode:

  • Live online classes delivered via Zoom, Monday to Thursdays 9.30am to 3.00pm
  • 1 x Whakatāne campus noho
  • 1 x Tāmaki campus noho
  • 15.3 self-directed hours per week
  • Total learning hours per week: 35.3

Tauira undertaking the flexible blended mode of the course will complete most of their study online. Tauira can complete theory remotely, but it is recommended they take advantage of on-campus sessions at our Tāmaki campus to gain real-world experience using radio stations and production booths.

Tauira will need a stable internet connection and a Smartphone that has ability to download editing apps such as Capcut.

 

Iwi Radio delivery:

The Iwi radio delivery option caters to professionals, interns and other staff working in the iwi radio industry.  Learning is delivered extra-murally, and practical elements of the course are delivered in partnership with the radio station.  Please contact us to find out more.
