Paying for study
Fees, scholarships, external options and budgeting advice
How much will it cost to study?
The payment of fees is essential to ensure the viability of a course or programme and also recognises the student’s investment in their own learning. In addition to tuition fees or course related fees, you will need to factor in additional costs that are generally incurred as a student.
What scholarships are available?
Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi offers a range of scholarships open to those enrolling in full-time degree study. Applications may open at varying times during the year. Even if you have completed your enrolment for this year, you may be eligible for a scholarship in the future.
How can I fund my study?
You can get help in paying for your studies in a number of different ways, some of which you won't have to pay back. Loans, allowances, scholarships and fee free programmes are available.
