The Postgraduate Certificate in Mātauranga Māori and Indigenous Studies programme uses blended delivery with noho wānanga (face to face) supported by eWānanga (online learning) and work integrated learning.

The content will include Māori and Indigenous practices and theories taught in the context of historical and contemporary settings. Applied research will form an integral part of the programme ensuring tauira will have the opportunity to connect their skills and knowledge to the aspirations of whānau, hapū, iwi and Māori communities. Contemporary and future oriented Māori and Indigenous challenges will be critically analysed and examined as solutions are investigated
