Ignite Wellbeing

Ignite is a free all-in-one platform that provides online access to hundreds of evidence-based resources and tools, and the ability to book one to one session with a wide range of providers across Aotearoa including Psychologists, Counsellors, Coaches, Financial Mentors, Dietitians, Rongoā Practitioners and more to support your hauora.  This flexible, proactive wellbeing platform is available to all Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi enrolled tauira across all campuses. Ignite allows you to access your choice of confidential support anytime, anywhere.

  • Accessibility: You can use Ignite any time and find support providers that are available today. Providers are available during work hours, evening and weekends and you can connect in person, by video or by phone.
  • Proactive and personalised: While Ignite Wellbeing offers suggestions and tools to support your hauora, it is you who determines what’s most beneficial given your unique situation or wellbeing goals.

Whole of life approach: Ignite takes a whole of life approach to wellbeing informed by Te Whare Tapa Whā that includes:

  • My Life - Taku Oranga (Finances, Recreation, Relationships, Occupation);
  • My Health - Taku Hauora (Body, Mind, Home, Habits);
  • My Meaning - Taku Tikanga (Beliefs, Culture, Connectedness, Identity)
